How to Cope with Globalisation by Keizya Daniswara Lobis

Globalisation is a situation where every life aspect like technology, culture, transportation , communication  have made an evolution. Globalisation produces advantage as well as harm. As the globalisation strikes almost every part of this world,thing that feels  the most is the international trade. By this trade, some of a country’s income has grown a lot. Let’s take another example, let’s take technology for the example. Technology has developed become much more huge than we ever thought. Now a day, we can use technology anywhere, anytime , we can use the internet while we are waiting for a bus or train arrival, we can also use internet to browse the newest information whether it’s within your country or even the world news. Everything can be access easily with the technology. Even now, we can book a flight ticket , book a hotel room without go to the locket or to the receptionist, we just do it with our phone and internet. If we want to know about someone’s news, we don’t have to write a letter , post it and wait for a long time until they reply our message, we can just text them or even make a video call with them. But when there are advantages of something, usually there are harms of it. Globalisation of course makes some harm. By the evolution of technology and communication, people become more individualistic. Sometimes they don’t care with their environmet, they just focus with their phone, games , or anything else. If we take a break and see backwards, years ago when we don’t  know well about technology, we recognize every single person in our house area. But now, that tradition isn’t exist anymore. Rising generation just care about their appearance in social media, they just care about their selves.

In my point of view, globalisation do give me a lot of advantages rather than harm. By these technology we have right now, i can explore more the world, i can see what is happening in the world, i can study more things i like. But, if we don’t use the technology wisely, we will be a fool people who are being enslaved by the technology, technology can leed to laziness, disrespectful to other person especially the elder. I do also believe that globalisation won’t stop develop. Even within a month technology can develop to a better way so do communication and transportation.Technology will never sleep. In 10 until 20 years ahead, if we’re too rely with technology , we could be a selfish person. We will never care about other’s situation. We just care about ourself. On the other hand, if we use these technology wisely, we could be a better person for a better future. Even if technology keep developing, we can’t forget our culture. We do have to keep remember the culture, it will be good if we can promote our culture to everyone in the world using then technology. We can’t deny globalisation. It will never stop growing. We also can’t deny that we do need technology to make our task easier right? Who in this world think that technology makes our live harder? I’m quite sure everyone think that it makes our life easier. We have to be grateful by the existence of technology. But we also have to aware with the disadvantage that can make our world damage. The only thing we can do is just go with these technology. We do have to make it as a benefit to make our life easier. We should think creatively about the world for years ahead. Maybe we can invent something that is useful for human race. Ready or not 10 or 20 years ahead, we have to think creatively, inovatively, and critically. We have to cope with this globalisation. We have to utilize this technology by make our life much more easier than right now even now it has been easier that the past. Creative idea is one of the most important thing that someone must have right now. Let’s see schools life, this day, students are forced to have a creative idea to invent something. Even in the kindergarten, toddler are teached to be creative and have a critical minded. Develop enterpreneurship is also needed right now, but somehow, some company has replaced the human source with the robotic machine. Because of it, in poor country a lot of people is jobless. They used to have a job but they were fire because of they aren’t needed anymore. That’s why by thinking creatively,critically,inovatively, and open minded ,  you can survive in this mean world who will only employ those who qualifies it.
