Globalization

Globalization is the process of interaction between people, companies, and governments worldwide. Globalization has grown due to advances in transportation and communication technology. With increased global interactions comes the growth of international trade, ideas, and culture. Globalization is primarily an economic process of interaction and integration that's associated with social and cultural aspects. However, conflicts and diplomacy are also large parts of the history of globalization, and modern globalization.
The good side of globalization is all about the efficiencies and opportunities open markets create. Business can communicate efficiently and effectively with their partners, suppliers, and customers and manage better their supplies, inventories, and distribution network. Local producers can sell their products in distant markets with the same ease and speed as in their home country. Sony Corporation (NYSE:SNE), for instance, can sell its TV and game consoles with the same ease in New York as in Tokyo.

The good side of globalization is also about easy credit and rising leverage, as money flows easily across local and and international.

The good sites also about we can go to another place very fast or we have high mobility. We can also easily search or grab knowledge from internet, from internet we can make people around the world know about our country tourism.

The bad side of globalization is all about the new risks and uncertainties brought about by the high degree of integration of domestic and local markets, intensification of competition, high degree of imitation, price and profit swings, and business and product destruction. Corporations that previously have been enjoying the benefits of globalization, now face unstable and unpredictable demand and business opportunities and their products quickly become commodities, leaving them little or no pricing power and under constant pressure by new competitors that undermine profitability.
The bad side of globalization is also about tight credit, deleverage, and declining money flows across local and national boundaries, as creditors tighten credit to both good and bad borrowers, depressing aggregate demand; setting the world economy into a vicious cycle of income and employment declines; and euphoria is succeeded by pessimism and a burst of asset bubbles, perpetuating the downward spiral of the world economy.
From the culture, globalization have a bad side. We can easily forget our custom and it will be replaced by western culture. Its good if we can filter the culture and grab the goo one, but in reality Indonesia people just take it all and don’t filter it. For example is invidualism in western culture, luxurious lifestyle, and promiscuity.
We must face the globalization, because life will become more hard if we don’t take the globalization and it is too bad if we just take it. We must do something to face globalization. There is some effort that we can do to face globalization. We must love local product and reduce to buy goods from foreign country and avoid luxurious lifestyle. We must filter the globalization with our religion, our moral value, and customs. We must filter it because, in globalization there is a good things that we can take and there is a bad things that we must avoid. We must follow a developing of technology to face globalization. For following the developing, we must study to follow it, we must be a critical thinking person, and we must study it more and more, because globalization is never stop and it always developing.
For me, to face globalization, first I must love local product and use more local product. I must filter it to take the good things and get rid of the bad things, to do that I must study hard, have a lot of knowledge, think global, and become critical person. I must follow the developing of globalization. For my family in the future, my child must have a concept to love a local product and keep family tradition and Indonesia moral value live in their mind. Our family must know that luxurious lifestyle is a bad habit. For my future job that become cultivator of seafood animal. I must take the good things of globalization and that is we can easily connect to people from foreign country. I must export my result of cultivate to make Indonesia income increase. I must follow the globalization to know and study a new way to cultivate seafood animal that have been done in foreign country and bring it to Indonesia.
 

The result is globalization is like a double edge sword. There is the good things that we can take and it will make us become more success or it can destruct us if we just take it all and not filter it. The most essential that we can do is become a critical thinker and become a wise people that know the good and the bad.
